Tata Motors-owned British sports car maker Jaguar Land Rover has opened the bookings for the 2018 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport facelift models in India to boost its sales in Asia’s third biggest car mart.
These sports utility vehicles or SUVs will be launched in the country in a couple of months.
Both the SUVs comprising of four trims of 3-litre V6 diesel, 4.4-litre V8 diesel and 3-litre V6 supercharged petrol, 5-litre V8 supercharged petrol variants each will be sold in India.

While Walmart has been holding talks to buy majority stake in Flipkart, market was abuzz with reports of Amazon likely to make a bid for the rival e-commerce company.
Reports claimed that initial level talks are being held to discuss about making such an offer in a bid to end the competition in the market. However, industry insiders felt it was too early for a top-level consolidation in the e-commerce market, which is still in its infancy.

German luxury car maker BMW, the second largest in the country, on Wednesday launched a special edition of the 3-Series, called the 'Shadow Edition' to boost sales in Asia’s third biggest economy.
It is a limited-run offering available in both petrol and diesel option. The sedan is priced at Rs 41.40 lakh for the 320d Sport trim and Rs 47.30 lakh for the 330i M Sport trim at pan India showroom.
This makes the petrol Shadow Edition about Rs 2.2 lakh more expensive than the standard 330i M Sport.
